OEM from an existing design or ODM development from an idea?
OEM manufacturing starts with the customer design and agreed specifications. Send your CAD drawing or STL file, the current version and a clear reference for the finished piece. We review the gemstone, metal, dimensions and construction before confirming the manufacturing proposal.
ODM design development starts with a sketch, reference photograph or project brief and budget. Our team works through the design proposal and drawing or modeling requirements for your finished gemstone jewelry. You do not need to create a CAD model before making the first inquiry.
What is reviewed before jewelry production?
The design, stone dimensions, metal, finished size, setting and surface finish need to work together. Identify the file format, version and any measurements that must be followed. Mark decisions that are still open so we can review them before the design, quotation and manufacturing schedule are agreed.
We’ll work to complete your custom piece as soon as possible and confirm the timeline with you before production. Timing depends on the design, materials and manufacturing requirements. Complex designs may take longer; shipping time is additional.
Turn your drawing into a custom gemstone jewelry project
Bring your CAD drawing, STL file, hand-drawn sketch or reference photograph to Only You. Our team in Daluotang, Panyu, Guangzhou, China reviews the design, gemstone, metal and dimensions as one finished jewelry project. We work across jewelry design development, gemstone processing and stone setting.
Finished custom jewelry starts from one piece. Our work includes 18K gold gemstone rings and custom earrings. Design development is reviewed as part of the finished jewelry project.
If you already have CAD drawings or an STL file
Send the available file by email or WhatsApp, together with a clear image of the intended design. Include stone length, width and depth, jewelry size, metal requirements and quantity. Explain which measurements must be followed and identify any dimensions or details that still need review.
A model alone does not describe every material or production requirement. Our team reviews the file and the brief together before confirming the proposed work, quotation and schedule.
If you have only a sketch or reference photo
You can still start a conversation. Send the clearest reference you have and describe the features you want to develop: the gemstone outline, setting style, proportions, band or earring dimensions, and preferred metal. State the natural or lab-grown gemstone material you require.
If you know your budget but have not settled the details, share that too. We use the information to review a project-specific proposal and identify the design or measurement decisions that need to be made before production.
Which file version and dimensions should we review?
Identify the current file or drawing and mark any changes from earlier references. Include an image that shows the intended finished piece. Note the measurement units and list critical stone, setting and jewelry dimensions alongside the model.
Separate details that are already decided from questions you want us to review. Design development is discussed as part of the finished jewelry project; the scope and deliverables are confirmed with the proposal.
What happens after you send your design?
- Brief review: discuss the design reference, stone specifications, jewelry size, metal, quantity and budget.
- Design development: review drawing and modeling requirements and confirm the proposed design.
- Production: proceed with model making, casting, metal finishing and stone setting according to the agreed project.
- Final inspection: complete polishing, any agreed surface treatment and quality inspection.
We’ll work to complete your custom piece as soon as possible and confirm the timeline with you before production. Timing depends on the design, materials and manufacturing requirements. Complex designs may take longer; shipping time is additional.
Coordinate the stone and the jewelry setting
For a colored gemstone ring or earring, the stone dimensions and setting requirements need to be discussed together. If the design calls for a particular gemstone outline or fit, include the relevant drawing and dimensions so our gemstone processing and jewelry team can review the requirements.
For a project that involves only loose stones, use the custom gemstone cutting and polishing service. Loose-stone quantities and processing schedules are assessed and quoted separately from finished jewelry.
Send your design for an individual review
Use the inquiry form for a short introduction and send your drawings to service@onlyyouhk.com or through WhatsApp. Tell us what you want to make, which files are available and what you need help deciding. You can also arrange a workshop visit in Panyu, Guangzhou, with an English-speaking host by appointment.
